Janelle Monae Launches Label Partnership With Epic Records
According to BET Centric, Janelle Monáe is officially a music mogul. The Grammy Award-nominated entertainer has announced that she has partnered with Epic Records in a joint venture that will see her Wondaland label revamped. Monáe--- who has run Wondaland independently for several years---along with her artists, met with several major labels, including her home label Atlantic, but collectively they made the decision to join forces with Epic after meeting with the label's CEOL.A.
