'For The Love of Whitney' - A Tribute Film to Whitney Houston

For the Love of Whitney is a 100 minute tribute film, which includes a collection of never before seen interviews with celebrities that spent quality time with Whitney on the stage, in the studio or on a film set. We conducted over 20 Studio Q interviews with celebrities who share stories detailing their fond memories with Whitney.  This DVD took us almost a year to make and is not a mass produced project, but rather a labor of love from fans who wanted to contribute love to Whitney's legacy. We idolized Whitney Houston growing up, so this is less of a documentary, and more of a tribute film, offering only a positive perspective about Whitney. The negative headlines have already been well documented by mainstream media.  We wanted to create something that was only filled with love for her. It is pretty awesome to watch something that really highlights the beauty of Whitney inside and out. Everyone you love should have a tribute like this done for them.
Along with the rest of the world, we were truly shocked and devastated when Whitney Houston passed, so it has been a real privilege to create something that truly honors her.  Emmanuel Lewis of the 80's sitcom Webster not only backed this project to make it a successfully funded campaign on Kickstarter, but he also serves as one of our Executive Producers. Bill Duke, director of the documentary film Dark Girls, reviewed our film then called us and told us it was "Brilliant!" Not bad for a couple of Whitney fans who never put together a film before. I truly believe For The Love of Whitney has been the best thing created about Whitney since her passing. But don’t take our word for it, you can read DVD reviews from Facebook, Twitter, and emails from around the word here.  There was also an article written up about the DVD in The State Journal Register published on what would have been Whitney's 50th birthday. You can read it by clicking here.
We only have a limited amount of DVD's that we prepared specifically to celebrate what would have been Whitney's 51st Birthday on August 9, 2014. We originally sent this DVD out for free to all of our supportive Kickstarter Backers in exchange for them helping us raise funds to get the film made. Due to the demand outside of our Backers' circle we have made it available for purchase. If you would like to own something that really honors Whitney click here to order your DVD. Every Whitney fan should have this in their collection. Watch the DVD trailer below, and later go click like our For The Love of Whitney Facebook Page here.
