According to The New York Daily News, Maya Rudolph will be back on NBC sooner than later. It was announced Tuesday that the 41-year-old actress' variety show, "The Maya Rudolph Show," is set to air May 19 at 10 p.m. on the network. The "Saturday Night Live" alum will be joined by some of her famous pals including Kristen Bell, Andy Samberg, Fred Armisen, Craig Robinson, Sean Hayes and Chris Parnell. "SNL's" Lorne Michaels is the executive producer for the one-hour special, along with Rudolph, David Javerbaum, Erin David and Dave Becky as producers. The episode could possibly serve as a pilot for a continuing series. This will be another big break on NBC for Rudolph as she had an 11-year run on "Saturday Night Live" and also recently starred in one of the network's sticoms, "Up All Night." It's doubtful that the funnygal, who has been working on the variety show since November 2013, will disappoint.
