Oprah Winfrey Gives Former Stepmom 60 Days To Vacate Tennessee Home

According to BET Centric, Oprah Winfrey has allowed her former stepmother Barbara Winfrey 60 days to vacate the $1.4 million Tennessee home that she occupied while still married to Vernon Winfrey. While the couple parted ways more than two years ago, Barbara has allegedly refused to leave the residence.  The Tennessean reports Barbara was set to face eviction within the next ten days, but a judge recommended that she be offered the extension during a hearing on Monday.  "The court is certainly aware of your situation," General Sessions Court Judge Ernie Williams told Barbara. "I'm trying to do what I can for you, okay?" Oprah initially offered to give her former stepmother a home in Davidson County, but Barbara passed on the opportunity due to a confidentiality agreement that she refused to sign."As part of the divorce proceedings, Barbara Winfrey was offered the Chateaue Valley home free and clear to live with her family and she chose not to accept it," a spokesperson for Oprah told Radar Online. "The next offer was to sell the residence on Willowbooke Circle and split the proceeds equally, which she also turned down. After several requests to voluntarily vacate the property at Willowbrooke Circle, the appropriate paperwork has been filed to have her vacate the property. A 60 day extension has been granted."  Vernon and Barbara were married in 2001 and the divorce was finalized late last year.

Sidebar: How do you turn down another house? Girl Bye. Somebody is seeming a little entitled even after the divorce. She probably will write a book or something. Damn, I know Oprah is like, really?
