According to TheYBF, Eva Marcille filed for custody of their daughter and won after alleged physical altercation with Kevin McCall.  Last month, the “Top Model” made claims that Kevin kicked down doors and attempted to snatch their daughter, Marley Rae, from her arms during a heated argument. But days after their alleged altercation, Eva posted a family pic of the three of them smiling. Now, it’s being reported Eva filed for custody of their daughter and a judge granted her motion. Unfortunately for Kevin, he has been denied visitation until their next court hearing. Lil' Mo Interview at The Breakfast Club Power 105.1

According to TheYBF, yesterday, “R&B Divas: LA” star Lil Mo and her professional boxer boyfriend from Philly Karl “Dynamite” Dargan (pictured above in NYC recently) hit up Power 105 with The Breakfast Club and Mo kept it all the way “hood.”  The “R&B Diva” dished on her estranged husband Philip Bryant (she’s done!), her new boo Dynamite and his kids (he has 3), cheating on her husband (she knew it was over so she cheated), on getting an abortion after getting pregnant by her estranged husband (gasp), participating in threesomes and so much more.

Here are the highlights:
On her break-up with estranged husband Philip Bryant:
Philip Bryant texted her in December saying he was going to send her the divorce papers but sent it to the wrong residence. Mo said she was ready to get her last name back so she filed herself.
On being celibate after being separated from her husband:
“I was dry!”
On Dynamites kids:
He has 3 kids so that makes 7 kids total between the two.
On how they met:
Mo & Dynamite have known each other since 2003 (when he was just 18 years old) when Dynamite was hanging out with Philly rapper Beanie Sigel.
On cheating on her husband:
Mo admitted to cheating on her husband Philip because she knew it was over between them. She said her woman’s intuition told her Philip was cheating so she did her. She also admitted she and her husband would have threesomes with other women and during one of their sessions she realized Philip was cheating on her.
On aborting her husband’s baby:
“My situation has been dead since last May. On May 5th I had to get an abortion. I was pregnant again. He just kept on trying to get me pregnant and do dumb stuff.”
On Foxy Brown getting Mo & Kelly Price back cool again:
Foxy called up Mo and told her they needed to squash their beef and be Christian women and make amends. Mo called Kelly up and apologized and now they’re cool.
On this season of “R&B Divas: L.A.”:
We won’t see Dynamite on the new season but we will get to see Mo with her kids.
On "LAHH ATL" star Mimi Faust:
“She’s crazy. Once you show your coochie, you’re done.”

Kim and Kanye Getting Married this Week

According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are getting married PRIVATELY and without fanfare this week.  Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ they already have a marriage license and plan to tie the knot before the week is out.  TMZ is told it's strictly on the QT so much so they got a "confidential" marriage license so no one officially knows. Sources say with a confidential license, K&K won't have to appear publicly at a courthouse to get married instead, an official from the court will actually go to them and perform the ceremony privately in their home.  And then, in about a month after they're already legally married in California we've learned Kim and Kanye will hold a lavish, blow-out wedding ceremony in Paris. They got engaged on Kim's birthday October 21.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.: ‘I’m very, very interested in buying the Clippers’

According to the AP, Throw Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s wallet into the ring as a prospective owner of the Los Angeles Clippers.  Mayweather said Tuesday he's interested in putting together a group — with himself as a majority owner — to buy the Clippers if the team is put up for sale. "Do we want to buy the Clippers? Yes we do," Mayweather said. "I'm very, very interested in buying the Clippers." Mayweather may not have enough money to buy the Clippers by himself, but he's certainly got enough for a good down payment. The boxer will make another $40 million or so Saturday night when he takes on Marcos Maidana in the third fight of a six-fight deal with Showtime that is reportedly worth $250 million. And he's plenty familiar with the team. Mayweather has a condo next to Staples Center and is a courtside fixture at both Lakers and Clippers games.  "We want to buy the Clippers and we can afford to buy the Clippers," Mayweather said.  Mayweather said he had nothing bad to say about Donald Sterling, who he said often invites him to sit next to him and his wife at the games and has always treated him with respect.

Sidebar: Wow. So just because he treated you nice then forget what he said about a whole race of people that you belong to. I am so thankful that everything didn't have to actually happen to Martin Luther King for him to stand against it.  Where would we be ifour ancestors only thought of themselves. Oh and BTW that man is not selling his team. He is going to fight tooth and nail to keep owning the Clippers, especially after all of this.

Game and T.I. In INTENSE Standoff

According to TMZ, The Game and T.I. were in a super-tense standoff with LAPD after a VIOLENT fight at an L.A. club early Wednesday morning.

A group of guys -- who we're told are "mutual acquaintances" of both Game and T.I. -- were denied entrance at Supperclub. The guys began arguing furiously with security when one member of the posse threw a punch at a security guy.  You hear the punch at the beginning of the fight video.

Security for the club then descended on 2 members of the posse, beating them to a bloody pulp ... at one point kicking one of them in the face while he was down.

LAPD cops were present during part of the fight ... as were off-duty officers who were working at the club.

This looks like a high school stand off after a football game when the other team lost the game. The Game and T.I. are millionaires. Lawyer up and go home.  The LAPD looks scared and ready to shoot. This is a very bad week. First Sterling now this and it's just Wednesday. Lord help us all.

Perri 'Pebbles' Reid Sues Viacom For $40 MIL

According to BET Centric, Perri “Pebbles” Reid---singer and former manager of the R&B trio TLC---is suing Viacom for $40 million over the group's made for cable television biopic. In federal documents filed in an Atlanta court on April 25, Reid, 48, claims that the 2013 VH1 movie CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story portrayed her “as a conniving and dishonest business woman who hoodwinked three innocent girls and exploited their talent for her own personal gain.”“[Viacom] ignored fundamental canons of journalistic and literary conduct by publishing false and defamatory accusations with actual malice,” states the documents. The lawsuit also states that contrary to what was depicted in the film, Reid never controlled TLC’s lawyers or accountants, never withheld contract terms from group members, and always paid the group what they were owed.  After selling 11 million copies of their 1994 album CrazySexyCool, TLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Members Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, and the late Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes sued LaFace Records and Reid's management company, Pebbitone, claiming they were each paid only $50,000 in 1993 and 1994. A spokesperson for Viacom said, “It’s our policy not to comment on matters in litigation.”

The Clippers Release Statement on Donald Sterling's Racist Comments

The Los Angeles Clippers have issued a formal response to racist statements allegedly made by Clippers owner Donald Sterling on an audio recording that was reported by TMZ late Friday.  Clippers President Andy Roeser says in the statement that the team does not know if the man recorded is Sterling but that the statements do not reflect Sterling's "views, beliefs or feelings."  Furthermore, Roeser claims the woman on the tape is the defendant in a lawsuit filed by the Sterling family that claims she embezzled more than $1.8 million. Sterling told Roeser that the woman said she would "get even" for Sterling for bringing the lawsuit against her.  A person identified by TMZ as Sterling can be heard in the recording making racist statements to a female friend, identified as V. Stiviano. A person identified by TMZ as Sterling can be heard in the recording, said to be made made earlier this month, telling the woman identified as Stiviano that he was upset she posted a picture on her Instagram account of herself next to Lakers legend Magic Johnson.

Here's Roeser's complete statement:
“We have heard the tape on TMZ. We do not know if it is legitimate or [if] it has been altered. We do know that the woman on the tape -- who we believe released it to TMZ -- is the defendant in a lawsuit brought by the Sterling family alleging that she embezzled more than $1.8 million, who told Mr. Sterling that she would “get even.”  Mr. Sterling is emphatic that what is reflected on that recording is not consistent with, nor does it reflect his views, beliefs or feelings. It is the antithesis of who he is, what he believes and how he has lived his life. He feels terrible that such sentiments are being attributed to him and apologizes to anyone who might have been hurt by them. He is also upset and apologizes for sentiments attributed to him about Earvin [Magic] Johnson. He has long considered Magic a friend and has only the utmost respect and admiration for him -- both in terms of who he is and what he has achieved. We are investigating this matter.”  The NBA said Saturday that it is conducting an investigation.

How to Tell Black People Apart by David Alan Grier

Columbus Short NOT Returning for Season 4 of 'Scandal'

There is a real Scandal going on that Olivia Pope won't be able to fix.  According to Entertainment Weekly, Columbus Short, whose character Harrison has been on the show since season 1, will not be returning for Scandal‘s fourth season.
Short released this statement via a publicist:
“At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today. I would like to first thank [creator] Shonda Rhimes for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast. Thank you GLADIATORS, who have supported me throughout my entire career and of course to ABC and Shondaland for allowing me to play such a pivotal role in the Scandal series. I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time. For this, I will forever be grateful.”
In the season 3 finale, which aired last week to record ratings, Harrison’s future was left unknown, as reinstated B613 head Rowan (Joe Morton) and his Secret Service henchman held him at gunpoint in the final minutes.
Short, who has been dealing with a slew of personal matters in recent months, is not the first regular cast member to make a between-seasons exit from the show, which stars Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn. Lost alum Henry Ian Cusick, who played associate/Abby’s love interest Stephen Finch, left the show at the end of season 1 to pursue other endeavors and was subsequently written out in exposition at the start of the following season.
Scandal returns in the fall on ABC.

Taraji P. Henson's 'From The Rough' LA Movie Premiere [VIDEO]

In conjunction with our media partner, TheAtlantaVoice.com, Studio Q attended the "From The Rough" movie premiere in Hollywood.  Starring Taraji P. Henson and Michael Clark Duncan, this movie tells the inspirational true story of Catana Starks from the historically black university  Tennessee State, who became the first African-American woman ever to coach an all-men’s team at the collegiate level. Through grit and determination, she overcame incredible odds and deep-seated prejudice from all corners to guide a rag-tag group of golfers to an all-time record championship season.

Coach Catana Starks and Taraji P. Henson
"I believe art changes lives, art saves lives, art creates lives, and right now, tonight, it's not about me.  It's about this woman's story, her legacy.  She touched me; she inspired me."  Taraji says about Catana Starks during our Studio Q interview.

This was the last film that Michael Clark Duncan starred in.  Taraji says, "I'm just so grateful to God and the angels above, including Michael Clark Duncan who had everything to do with getting this movie distributed.  There's a very emotional scene in the movie when I'm getting fired..and I'm human.  Some days I'm in it, some days I'm not.  And this particular day, I just wasn't feeling it.  And as a scene partner, he was there and available.  And all I had to do was look up in his big ole brown eyes, and then it just came for me."

Other stars in the film include Henry SimmonsTom Felton, LaToya LuckettBen Youcef, Robert Bailey Jr. and Justin Chon.  This film is all about dedication and perseverance.  Coach Catana Starks is indeed a true SHero and after watching the film, you'll feel totally inspired.
