Life You Want is being staged in partnership with Harpo Studios, O, The Oprah Magazine, cable network OWN and her agency, WME, which recently launched a live events division. Toyota and Olay will serve as sponsors. Although the different Winfrey media outlets likely will use tour content, fellow OWN president Erik Logan says they haven't yet determined how. The move comes as Winfrey, 60, continues to push her brand in new directions. She made a high-profile return to acting in Lee Daniels' The Butler in 2013 and is in talks to star opposite Audra McDonald in a Broadway revival of the Pulitzer-winning 'night, Mother. Logan suggests there could be more tour stops, too. "We believe that this will be successful," he says. "And if it is to the degree we think it will be, you should expect us to continue."
Sidebar: If I could afford a 1,000 ticket (I'm sure the $99 are way at the back) I would already have a better life. Lol! I love Oprah, but this is a luxury ticket item for those who are struggling to pay rent, or buy food. BUT, if you can find the money or if you have the money to see Oprah I highly recommend it. There could be one thing that she says or that Iyanla Vanzant says that could turn your WHOLE life around. I have seen Oprah a few times at her show and at the Life Class finale and it was always a big deal. Once I even got to ask her a question. One more question and we could have called it an interview! Oh yeah, it's coming people.
