Variety, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Hart will be teaming up to star in Tim Story‘s comedy film, ‘Black Phantom,’ which will be co-produced by Will Packer and Will Gluck. The story centers on a double-crossed mob hitman who enlists the help of the Black Phantom, the same African-American hitman who had been sent to kill him. Screen Gems president Clint Culpepper will oversee the project, which was written by Dave Lease and Megan Hinds. Packer, Story, and Hart are having a good time working together as the trio has had success with the $90M plus ‘Think Like a Man,’ and ‘Ride Along,’ which has grossed over $120M to date so far. Coming up is ‘Think Like a Man Too.’ While Hart is currently starring in Screen Gems’ ‘About Last Night,’ Foxx will next be seen in Sony Pictures’ ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ and the ‘Annie’ reboot later this year.
