According to BET Centric, "BAPS" is headed to reality TV on Lifetime. Of course the stars of the 1997 comedy—Halle Berry and Natalie Desselle-Reid—aren’t doing a reality show of the same name, but a group of St. Louis women are. Per MadameNoire, a group of self-proclaimed Black African-American
Princesses who live in St. Louis are ready to show viewers how they live
in the Midwest. "BAPS" will follow the lives of Anisha Morell and a group of her affluent friends around St. Louis. According to the netword, the women are “always dressed to the nines
with egos in tow, and aren’t afraid to share their opinions about the
men in their lives and about each other.” Basically it’s breeding
grounds for the women to compete with one another making for reality TV
drama heaven. The series is produced by Asylum Entertainment and is slated for a summer 2014 premiere.
Sidebar: This is Studio Q Producer, Tam's favorite movie. I hope this reality show don't ruin it for her. Then again, who am I kidding it is BAPS.
