This past weekend Studio QTV attended the 23rd Annual HIV/AIDS benefit concert DIVAS Simply Singing at Club Nokia. DIVAS Simply Singing is an annual benefit concert, produced in conjunction with The DIVA Foundation to raise money to support HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and testing programs.
Created and produced by actress-activist Sheryl Lee Ralph’s DIVA Foundation, DIVAS Simply Singing! is the longest consecutive running musical AIDS benefit concert in the country, raising awareness and erasing stigma, one song at a time. The star-studded evening featured Jenifer Lewis (Baggage Claim), Faith Evans (R&B Divas), Kelly Price (R&B Divas), Martha Wash (It's Raining Men), Karyn White (Superwoman), Carolyn Malachi (Gold), Sheléa (Love Fell on Me), VaShawn Mitchell (Nobody Greater) and B Slade, the artist formerly Tonex just to name a few. Studio Q spoke to the stars about the importance of uniting their voices in song to raise awareness in the fight to end HIV/AIDS. Check out our red carpet interviews below!
