Prisoners Earns Top Spot at Box Office with $21.4 Million

The kidnapping drama, Prisoners, starring Viola Davis, Terrence Howard, Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal opened with strong numbers this weekend. The thriller earned the top spot at the box office with $21.4 million. According to Fox News, that's reasonably good for a fall season debut, especially since the film took $30 million to make. Horror flick Insidious: Chapter 2 took the second spot with $14.5 million. Instructions Not Included, The Family and Battle of The Year rounded out the top five. [Fox News] Earlier this year we spoke to Viola Davis at Halle Berry's Silver Rose charity event. Check out our Studio Q interview below.
