Jada Pinkett on Marriage with Will Smith

According to Radaronline Jada Pinkett is hopelessly devoted to husband Will Smith and she doesn’t want any advice or input from friends. The 41-year-old wife of the After Earth star, whose previous statements about her marriage of fifteen years have led people to people that she and Will have an open relationship, confides to Redbook magazine that there really isn’t anything that her husband could do to make her leave him – and RadarOnline.com has the details. “He’s the best warrior you will ever find,” she gushes to the women’s magazine about Will.  What is the thing that Will could do that would make me not love him? That would make me abandon him? I can’t think of one. I’m sorry. Except if he did something bad to the kids – now we’ve got a problem. But that’s it. We’ve had such an extraordinary life together.” Jada, who admits that every relationship takes work, also reveals that she doesn’t turn to her friends for advice and support. “It is dangerous,” she explains to the magazine about sharing relationship issues with pals. “Intimacy is a very complicated thing. There is nothing I could ever say to anyone that would give them a clear understanding of what happens between us – so why get anyone involved?”Instead, Jada discusses everything with Will.  “[Will and I] work all that out with each other; that’s part of being in an intimate relationship. If you are giving your life to someone and this is the only person you deeply love, then you should be able to come to that person with anything. There shouldn’t be a person I need to talk to outside of him. And I don’t want my friends, who have a great affinity for both of us, to feel like they have to take sides.”  In April 2013, the actress felt heat for comments she made during an appearance on HuffPost Live, which many perceived as confirmation of the couple’s rumored open mariage.  I’ve always told Will, ‘You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be okay,’” she said. “Because at the end of the day, Will is his own man. I’m here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be and that’s not for me to do for him. Or vice versa.”

Oprah Gives Harvard Commencement & Receives Honorary Degree

It doesn’t matter how far you might rise...At some point, you are bound to stumble.
And when you do, remember this: there is no such thing as failure. Failure is just life
trying to move us in another direction.”

Earlier today Oprah Winfrey received an honorary doctorate from Harvard University and delivered the 2013 commencement address to the university's graduating class according to YBF.com.  During today's 2013 commencement address, the talk show maven and media mogul shared several of her personal "aha" moments with the graduating class of Harvard University. Using her "own" perceived failures as the backdrop of her inspiring speech, she challenged the class to live a life of purpose.  Another poignant moment came when Oprah offered her advice on getting over the inevitable hurdles of life. She suggested that individuals develop an internal GPS and build a resume that doesn't tell the story of what they want to be, but one that tell's "...a story that is really about [their] purpose.” She added...“When you inevitably stumble and find yourself stuck in a hole...that is the story that will get you out.”she ended by telling the class, "...you now have a chance to better your life, the life of your neighbors and that of your country... When you do that, that's when your story gets really good." Watch the video of her inspiring speech below: Sidebar: I Heart Oprah.

Jaden's rumored love, Kylie Jenner, even made an appearance in a slightly risque dress for a 15-year-old, but, we digress. The father-son duo's family also walked the red carpet. Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Trey Smith all came out to support the "After Earth" team. Jada looked ready for the warm weather in a cute, floral mini dress, and 12-year-old Willow toned down her usually rambunctious style a bit, wearing a simple black shirt and pants. In the sci-fi flick, Will and Jaden play a father and son who crash land on Earth 1,000 years after a cataclysmic disaster forced humans to flee the planet. Check out the star-studded photos above. "After Earth" lands in theaters May 31.

Tyler Perry Talks Whitney and Bobbi Kristina on Oprah's Next Chapter

In an upcoming episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter, famed actor, director, producer and playwright, Tyler Perry spoke openly about his relationship with the late Whitney Houston and discussed how he tried to help his dear friend overcome her tumultuous battle with substance abuse.
When asked if he felt responsible for looking after Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina after her mother’s passing, Perry admitted that he actually felt very responsible for looking after Whitney since the day he met her.
“I felt a huge responsibility for her- for Whitney herself. I felt a tremendous responsibility from the first day we sat down in that restaurant and had a conversation where she was so open with me.”
He also shared that he did whatever he could to assist Whitney’s family in getting her the help she needed.
“I stood with them [the Houston family]. Whatever they needed, they would call and say this and this is going on or that’s going on. Or I would talk to her sometimes and she would just be, you know out of it, but trying to be together.”
Tyler went on to say that like most people with loved ones who struggle with substance abuse, fear of Whitney’s death constantly loomed in the back of his mind.
“I felt a responsibility to do all that I could to help her because I sensed- like most people who deal with people with addiction issues- they sense that there is a death day coming.”
Tyler’s episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter debuts on OWN Sunday, May 26th at 9 p.m. ET.

Jennifer Hudson to Join American Idol Judges Table

According to entertainment insiders, Jennifer Hudson and her team are negotiaing the Oscar-winner's return to "American Idol" for Season 13.  A source told The Wrap, "She got the offer and her reps are currently negotiating with [the show's production company] Fremantle." But Jennifer won't be the only former AI contestant at the table.  The insider explained that AI execs have devised a brilliant plan to bring back it's core audience.
"The show's producers feel they've lost their core audience. And they want to bring back former contestants in order to tell their core audience, 'We love you.' They know they've made some major mistakes over the past few seasons and they want to make it right with their fans."
So how do they plan to make it right?  In addition to Jennifer, sources say Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken have all been mentioned for the AI All-Star panel.

Sidebar: I love me some Jenifer Hudson, but a judge? I'm really confused with American Idol. They are focusing on the wrong part of the show. How about finding the best talent to make the show interesting. It is a cool idea to have former contestants as judges, but I still don't think it is enough to save the show. We'll see. I've been known to be wrong. lol

She attended the graduation in full cap and gown, flaunting the costume for the paparazzi. Longoria also uploaded her own photos to Twitter, depicting her with everyone from her mother and father to her fellow classmates. She started out the day with encouraging words to those who might think about going back to school by tweeting: "Big day today!!! Very excited to graduate for my Master’s degree in Chicano Studies! You’re never too old or too busy to continue your education!"

Love & Hip Hop New York Cast Demand More Money

According to YBF, The filming of "LAHH NY" didn't start as scheduled after half of the cast stormed off set and the others didn't bother to show up this week.  The cast of last season's "LAHH NY" aren't too pleased with Mona Scott-Young and the execs over at VH1.  TMZ reports that the show was set to film a trailer on Tuesday, but hit a snafu when half the cast didn't show up.  While half of the cast stayed home to protest failed contract renegotiations, those who did show up didn't get anything accomplished either.  Reportedly, there were several "stars" who stormed off the set.  Apparently, several members of the cast want their salaries doubled, while others, unhappy with how they were portrayed, would like more creative control.  As a result of the fallout, producers are meeting with angry cast memebers and hoping to have the-ish resolved by the end of the week.

Sidebar: Let them all go and start over. The Atlanta cast provides enough dram for both coasts and the south.

Paris Hilton Signs Record Deal with Cash Money

According to MTV.com Paris Hilton has found a new home, and some of her roommates include Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. The heiress/singer/"Bling Ring" actress has reportedly signed with Cash Money Records.  Hilton broke the news to Showbiz 411, adding that she hopes to have her follow-up to 2006's self-titled debut out by summer. She added it will feature a number of hip-hop acts, including Weezy, and production from EDM superstar Afrojack. "This is a lot different than my first album," Paris told the site. "It's really going to be house music."Reps for Cash Money confirmed that Hilton is onboard with the label, while Hilton's rep said nothing is set in stone: "Paris Hilton is in talks with a number of record labels right now but we can't confirm anything. When a deal is finalized we will make an official announcement."Hilton has been rolling with the Cash Money crew for a while now. Last year, she released a song with Wayne, "Last Night," and he was even on hand at her birthday bash back in March. In May, she was also recruited to cameo in the Rich Gang's video for "Tapout," alongside Cash Money all-stars Wayne, Birdman, Mack Maine and Nicki Minaj.

Birdman opened up to "RapFix" about the relationships the label has cultivated over the years. And while he never brought up this reported deal with the hotel heiress, it seemed clear he's into working with all kinds of artists. "We have other artists like Future, who is not signed to us but a part of us. French, Ross, Meek and all these [guys] are friends that we rock with and call on," Birdman promised. "A lot of business we do don't necessarily have to be about money, it's about relationships and this is about people that we have relationships with."Hilton's been long teasing the sophomore effort. She shared last year she wanted to have new music out in mid-2012, but it never happened. It seems fans will have to wait a little longer — until the summer of 2013 — to hear what she's previously described as "electropop music."  "I think a lot of people don't know that music is my passion since I was a little girl," the "Stars Are Blind" singer told MTV News last year. "I'm very musically talented. This is more my thing [musically on this album], more of a club scene, more dance."

Sidebar: Now this is hilarious, but smart on both parts. Everyone will want to hear at least what they will come up with. Go Paris. The fat lady has not yet sang on your career.

X Factor Saves Big by Replacing Brittney Spears

According to THR The May 20 hiring of Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio as season-three judges is likely to save Fox and producers FremantleMedia and Cowell’s Syco a lot of cash.  Sources tell THR that the new recruits will cost a fraction of the $15 million that Britney Spears commanded in season two: around $1 million for former Destiny’s Child singer Rowland, 32, and closer to $1.5 million for Rubio, 41, a Mexican singer-actress who also pulls down a judge’s salary for La Voz Kids, a Spanish-language kids version of The Voice airing on Telemundo.  Even with Spears joining Cowell, L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato last season, X Factor lost 20 percent of its 18-to-49 audience, with ad revenue dropping from $502 million in year one to $386 million in 2012, according to Kantar Media.  Rowland is making about what Lovato received when she joined the show. It’s believed Lovato asked for double her fee after her well-received debut on the show.According to reports, Rowland earned about $750,000 for her one-season turn on X Factor U.K. in 2011, so her new pay actually is a small raise. Says a source close to the deal-making: "Salaries are all over the place because ratings are all over the place.” That's especially true of X Factor, adds the insider, which has struggled to find its footing.

Sidebar: It may be saving Fox money, but I think anyone who can earn $1 million dollars to sit and judge others do what you get paid to do for a living is priceless. But it seems Brittney Spears was the real winner. $18 million in one season, it really does pay to be Brittney or Mariah or Kevin federline. lol

The sequel to 2004′s ‘Anchorman’ follows the antics of San Diego’s most popular TV news anchorman (Jim Carrey). Other celebrities such as rapper Kanye West have filmed cameos for the movie. The screenplay was written by comedian Will Farrell.

Idris Elba Starring in Mandela:Long Walk to Freedom

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom starring Idris Elba and Naomie Harris has been sold to several more markets, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Over the weekend, Harvey Weinstein discussed the film at the Cannes Film Festival and announced it would be released in the states in November. Now it will be shown in the U.K., France, Germany, Australia, Scandinavia, Brazil, Hong Kong and more cities across the globe. The biographical film is expected to cover Mandela's young adulthood, his 27-year imprisonment and his election.

Kevin Durant Pledges $1 Million to Tornado Relief

According to [ESPN]Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant pledged $1 million to tornado relief through his Durant Family Foundation on Tuesday. "As the day went on and I saw the footage and the casualties and the houses being blown away, it was tough to see," he said. "I call Oklahoma City my home. I go through Moore all the time. It's unfortunate. We're going to come together as a city like we always do and we're going to bounce back." Although he was out of town during the storms, Durant hopes to return home on Wednesday.

Sidebar: This is amazing. And I say amazing because how many times have you heard of a basketball player giving a million dollars away to any charity? Not often. I hope others follow in his footsteps. First Dr. Dre donates to education now Kevin Durant donates to relief efforts for the city that enables him to play for the NBA. That's how you give back! I salute Durant.
