Fan Moment w/ Denzel Washington

Are you a fan of Denzel Washington? I can hear a million "Yes-es!!!" Well, so is Theryn Bond who had one of the best fan moments with Denzel that I have ever seen. This moment took place at the 2012 Merge Summit on Saturday August 25th at the Biltmore hotel in Los Angeles, CA.  Can you believe the very next day, Sunday August 26th, I found myself sitting right next to Theryn at F.A.M.E Church in LA? What are the chances of that?! There is no such thing as coincidences.  We talked about her Denzel moment and she told me, someone had given her a prophecy several months ago, that she would meet Denzel.  They even told her what he would be wearing, down to the color of his clothes, and him wearing a hat. As you can see, the prophecy came true.

I posted this video just to remind people not to give up on their dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem. Even though Denzel did not agree to be Theryn's acting mentor she got to connect. Denzel said that night that, "God answers all prayers, but sometimes the answer is NO!"   I never take 'NO' to mean forever.  I just take it to mean NOT RIGHT NOW.  I think it is so awesome that there were hundreds of people in that room, but she got an opportunity to ask a question, and get a hug from a global superstar.  We all saw her cry as she struggled to get the words out for her question.  Everyone could tell how special this moment was for her.  And honey, every woman (and some men ) wanted the hug she got! Lol!  I hope other stars take note on how to treat the people who adore them  and support their careers. Very little, goes a long way.  And if Denzel can do it on the level he is on, I know other stars can. There is no excuse for being assholes.  And if you have any desire to be one, please refer to the book of Denzel, Micahel Jackson, Will Smith, Tom Cruise, President Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Whitney Houston, Cedric the Entertainer, and Patti Labelle - you know, some of the biggest and most influential stars on the planet. If these legends can be kind with all of their fame, fans, and influence then so can you. Real Talk. This was a great Denzel Washington moment and a great Theryn Bond moment. Bravo!

Help Make My First Kickstarter Project A Success!

Hours ago, I launched my First Kickstarter Project, and I can't express to you how excited I am. Why? Because with your help in creating this project, I get to pour all of my love, and attention into the wonderful memories people shared with the iconic Whitney Houston. With your help, I get to find out wonderful things about Whitney that I never heard anyone else talk about before.  With your help, I get to create something positive on someone who shared her gift with the world, without any negative spin on it.  I remember when Jay-Z said to Kanye West in his Watch The Throne documentary trailer that he wanted to know what Michael Jackson was talking about in the studio when he made the Thriller album. I do too! Discovering great memories, of great people, like a Michael Jackson or Whitney Houston can provide great inspiration for all of us! This project will give Whitney fans and friends an inside look back at some special memories re-visited by people who shared quality time with the legend. The interview series will allow you to get to know the woman behind the Voice.  I want to celebrate Whitney's 48 years of life by focusing on the fun loving moments she had throughout those years. I want to the wonderful time she had with the people that she loved.  We all have struggles, but Whitney's struggles did not make up all of who she was. Not by a long shot!  Whitney gave so much more than just a song and with your help,  my Kickstarter Project will go behind the scenes and talk to people who experienced the real beauty of who she was as a person.  Help make my Kickstarter Project: Whitney Houston Tribute Web Series a success by checking out my Kickstarter Page and donating what you can, and spreading the word on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. You can give as little as $1 towards the project. No donation is too small.  In exchange, we have some great rewards for you. Thank you in advance!

Happy Birthday Whitney!
