This BOY can SANG!

Okay my best friend Tam just sent this link to me a few minutes ago. Can I just say I fell in love with this little white boy after his first note.  I can't believe the voice of a 40 year old black man is coming out of his mouth.  He has a gift! I see him opening up for Tim McGraw tomorrow.  Yep, he's that good. That BOY can SANG!  No really, you need to click the play button and listen. I loved it. This is what the intenet is made for.  His clip made me smile from beginning to the end. I felt good all over. I promise you will too.

Millions Starving in Somalia!

I'm watching CNN right now and it's so hard to believe that millions are starving in Mogadishu, Somalia.  I believe Obama is the reason the US is relaxing the rules so that more aid can get through. The terrorist don't want foreign aide and are ultimately starving their own people. There has been recent drought, and ongoing instability of government that has led to this.    The UN has declared the drought in Somalia as the worst in 60 years.  To exacerbate things even more, women who have traveled miles, and miles, by foot, with their children, to get food, have been raped. It is just a horrible situation that calls for my prayer and yours if you're reading this.  Famine in Kenya has their people suffering equally.  It makes you pause when you're complaining about meaningless things, when people are literally dying to eat.  No matter how hard your day is, there is always someone else who had it worse.  I remember when Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones put together 'We are the World.' Watching it today on Youtube still gives me chills.  So sad that the song is just as relevant in the moment I type this. Today, let's all be a little more grateful for what we have.
